Launching 2nd phase of training Palestinian PWD on “Media and Information Literacy (MIL) and Narrative Methodologies”

Disabled Voices from Gaza project team at IUG has launched the second phase of training programme for developing disabled university students and graduates in Palestine in “Media and Information Literacy (MIL) and Narrative Methodologies”. After successfully completing training 17 Palestinian participants with visual‚ hearing and mobility disability by the expert trainer Dr Iain Overton, Action on Armed Violence, 13 selected trainers, divided in 4 teams of threes, have started transferring the skills and experiences they gained to about 35 trainees with different disability who were split in 2 groups: morning and afternoon. The 18-hour face to face training continues for 2 weeks. The training is taking place in  the well-equipped and well-adapted compute labs of IUG Irada Center.
